In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. Both are a way for us to share our excitement over all the lovely new books and/or swag we've received over the past week!
So let's get this thing goin!
Bought:
The Collector - Victoria Scott
OMG FINALLY!!! I had one huge order last week and these were shipped seperately and I was so bummed to find The Collector was part of the 2nd shipment. I seriously think I squealed when I got the box. Sadly nobody could understand nor share my excitement. Sigh, the pains of being a bookworm in a non reader world.
Crash - Nicole WIlliams
I have been wanting to read this series for so long. And this month I decided is my month to get a bunch of books I've been pining for.
Slammed - Colleen Hoover
I know right. I haven't read this yet! I freaking loved Hopeless. It was A-MA-ZING. I have no excuse for not reading this yet. Well except that I didn't own it until now. So NOW I have no good excuse! :P
The Vincent Boys - Abbi Glines
Amazing cover? Check. Good girl? Check. Bad boy? Check. Abbi Glines? Check.
One Week Girlfriend - Monica Murphy
I swear every time I pulled up a new blog last week or maybe it was the week before, regardless just about each one had a Monica Murphy book on it YA Bound's swoons last week were nearly all Monica Murphy too so I got some nice little steamy teasers and just had to get my hands on this!
Rock the Heart - Michelle A. Valentine
Cover love first. That's what initially got me and the blurb just sounded so good. Can't wait to start this series!
Red - Kate SeRine
I love, love, love fairy tale adaptations...if they're done right. Saw a review for one of the later ones in the series a couple weeks ago and it got a really good review so I'm very hopeful!!
So this has been on my "TBR" list for quite a while, but recently a certain fellow blogger *Cough*Kelly*Cough* turned up the peer pressure so I bought it. Okay all it wasn't so much peer pressure as it was a friendly suggestion but let's all make her feel differently! :D
NetGalley:
The Testing (The Testing #1) - Joelle Charbonneau
A new YA, Post Apocalyptic, Dystopian series? Um...YES PLEASE! The blurb just sounded SO GOOD so when I got the email with a 2 day only pre-approval I was all over that ;D
Buried - Gerilyn Marin
It sounded different and interesting so I figured I'd give it a try..
*****
So that's my happy little haul. What interesting goodies did you get this week?
Anna and the French Kiss! You're going to love it! I was pre-approved for The Testing too, but I didn't jump at the chance and now maybe I should have! I got One Week Girlfriend last week and I need to read Crash and Vincent Boys! Such a great haul Sheri!

Haha now that I look at it all it feels like I went a bit crazy but a good chunk of it was ordered last week and some of it was freebies! Oh let's face it I have a serious book problem :/ lol
DeleteThanks for stopping by Jessica! :D
Yes! Yes Yes! Everyone is talking about The Collector and I have to grab it soon! And Crash!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul!
Happy Reading!

Yes those are the two I'm most excited about this week!! Now I need to finish what I'm on so that I can read them haha :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by Patrick! Happy Blogaversary :)
I do love my kindle! I have that model. It's the best IMO. Starting The Collector this week. I loved The Vincent Boys. Hope you enjoy! x
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm really loving my Kindle. It's so light and IMO the next/previous page buttons are so much easier to use, but anyway! I'm looking forward to reading both of those so yay :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by Danielle :) x
Great books for you this week! I have an old Kindle but,I love it. It has a crack in it now and I am reluctant to get a new one because it has sentimental value. I suppose I will have to get a new one soon...I hope you enjoy your new books!

I'm the same way with getting rid of stuff, I have an old hot pink dell laptop (I loved that thing!) that hasn't been able to power on for like 2 years now... and yet it's still sitting on a shelf lol.
DeleteThank you for stopping by! :)
Wow, what a great haul! As for Kindle... I've been holding out. I love my older Sony Reader. But my parents, my sister, and my nephew all have Kindles and love them. Plus, there are lots more interesting freebies and bargain books for Kindle than for ePub readers. I'm very much afraid I'm headed in the same direction as you...
ReplyDeleteYeah it's pretty much converted me! I'm sure soon enough I'll be spontaneously singing the praises of the almighty Kindle. Haha (Okay maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit)
DeleteThanks for stopping by Lark! :)
I've heard a lot of people are super excited about the release of THE COLLECTOR. You're not the only one, don't worry :) It sounds really interesting. I was SO excited when I got that email about THE TESTING. It sounds like it's going to be fantastic!! I've been meaning to pick up ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS for awhile now, too. Everyone who's read it seems to really like it. I still don't have a nook or a kindle. I just read off the kindle app on my ipad. Amazon always seems to have some really good kindle deals, more so than B&N seems to have. If I were going to buy one, which I feel will probably happen sooner than later, it'll probably end up being a kindle. But I, too, am B&N > Amazon. If I'm buying a physical copy of a book, I go to my local B&N! New follower :)
ReplyDeleteMy IMM post!
Yeah I never did research when I bought my Nook I just knew I loved B&N so I just got one. Then after a few months I started noticing that there'd be books here and there that I'd really want to read but they were Kindle only, or another one I'd want would be free on Amazon but not B&N etc. So this month I had the extra funds to do it and just got it and now I'm hooked haha. Oh well :/
DeleteAnd I'm excited to read The Testing too it's probably going to be next so I can get it out of the way!
Thanks for stopping by and following :)!!
Great haul!! I really want to read The Collector. I've heard many good things about this book!!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Kindle fan!! I'm not buying real books anymore. Only Kindle ones. I used to have the basic Kindle 4, like yours. It's a really great device!! It's so small and slick and convenient. Recently, I've bought the new Kindle Paperwhite and it's really great too!
Thanks for stopping by my blog (:

I'm becoming a huge Kindle fan myself haha! It's just so light and easy to use I'm sort of kicking myself for waiting so long.
DeleteThanks for stopping by Sapir! :)
You got great books this week. I also got Burned from Netgalley, it sounded good. And I have 2 Kindles, lol. Why you ask, because 1 is the Kindle Touch which is the first I got and I recently got the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 screen it's where I watch videos & do online things. I only read Netgalley books on there.

Enjoy reading all your new books =]
So did you! And I'm the last person who'd ask why about the 2 kindles thing haha. My family thinks I'm odd because not only do I have some books on my nook or kindle but I also buy physical copies of them if they're available and I liked them...So yeah no judgement here ;D
