Holy books, Batman! Not only did I crush my March TBR, but I ended up adding quite a few more after that. I mean, by mid month I had already read all the books I wanted to get read and so I just kept pulling them off my shelf.
I'm never like this. But it was like I would finish a book and then I would be extremely fidgety. As if I couldn't sit still. And the only thing that fixed that was picking up another book. I may end up coming to regret it because who knows how much of each of the books I read I absorbed, but I couldn't stop myself.
Thank god I'm not a drug addict am I right?
So here was my TBR:
And all the extras I read:
(+ a few DNFed books)
Total TBR books read: 10/10!
+ 6 full sized books and 3 comics extra!
How They Rated:
(My DNFs)
I will more than likely end up giving Defiance a second shot at some point in the future. I think my problem with that one was just bad timing and not being fully in the mood for it. The School for Good and Evil, however I will NOT be giving a second try. No, no, no, no, no.
Even though the White Rabbit Chronicles destroyed me this month, this book also destroyed my soul but in a completely different way. It's the kind of book that I will carry with me for a long, long time. Sigh. I wanna read it again now. I miss Moses.
I have read plenty of Middle Grade books over the years and have absolutely loved them. So when I say that the immaturity level of this book and the writing style annoyed the ever loving crap out of me it's not a thing where "oh maybe you're just too old to read MG" that's definitely not the case. The appeal of this book was just lost on me and it was not my kind of thing. Don't hate me if you loved this book I'm not trying to say anything against you personally, trust me I'm sure there are tons of books that I've loved that would make you look at me funny! We all have different tastes and this one wasn't mine!
I've been in the midst of a review writing block for about 3 months now. But one of the days when I was trying to keep myself from consuming another book so shortly after finishing the previous one I went on a review writing spree. So I finally have something to list here! (I haven't written one since....sigh)

03/18/16 - Every Last Breath (The Dark Elements #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

And that was my March! I've already got a huge pile of books sitting on my desk all ready and waiting for April. Who knows if my out of control reading habits will continue on. Part of me hopes that yes they will because I haven't read very many lackluster books. But who knows how long that streak will last.
How did your March go?
Have anything you're looking forward to in April?
Have a great month everyone! :)
