How much is too much to love?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

An entire book...inside the head of Travis Maddox? Please excuse my uncontrollable squeals of delight!!!

And then I started reading the freaking prologue people...Just the prologue!!!

Sigh... this is going to be a long book. Do I have enough tissues?

Before I say anything else I want to give some love and appreciation to the cover. I think it's absolutely breathtaking. The vivid colors, and even though it's just a shoulder and a tat and still it's like...wow. Truly one of my favorite book covers of all time.

In some ways I thought that maybe this book would be easier to read. I mean it's just a different view point of Beautiful Disaster right? So I know everything that's coming. Well, okay, actually I know most of what's coming. Besides it's Travis so, pure heaven right?

In many ways though this is also what makes it the hardest one to read. And all those things that tore me apart based on Abby's interpretation of what was happening from her POV are now magnified by a million. Because now I have every agonizing detail and emotion from Travis himself and as if I wasn't shattered enough already, having just finished Beautiful Disaster before picking this one up and reading it, I am now even more broken than when I started. I honestly don't think I cried this much in the other one. (Still.. Worth. Every. Second.)

But it wasn't just tears and heartache. I was very excited hoping to have more of the Maddox clan in this one; Jim, Trent, Taylor, Tyler and Thomas. I think the rest of the Maddox brothers should each get their own book. They were so funny and I love the family dynamic they have. And luckily we got to see a tiny bit more of that in this book.

Plus we get to see all of his high points. Experience his absolute joy and experience the adoration he feels for his Pigeon. It just made me even more so wish for every one of us at some point in our lives, to have someone have just as much faith, love and devotion as Travis does in Abby.

This was just as good as book one, even a bit more so and I can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy once it's out there! If you liked book one and are a "Mad Dog" fan you're gonna love this book. And if you haven't read either...Why are you still here reading this?? Go now!

INTENSE. DANGEROUS. ADDICTIVE.

Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

Travis Fucking Maddox...

Seriously, Look out book boys because Travis Maddox snuck his way to the top of the book boyfriend list. I love me a bad boy and ladies they don't get any badder than Travis. I'm not kidding! What? You need proof?

1. Gorgeous bod (Okay not proof I just want to point that out..)

2. Said body is covered in tattoos (You had me at tattoos...)

3. He's a total man-whore, no for real a girl leaving his apartment said she'd leave her number on the counter. His response was "Eh...don't worry about it." (Okay that doesn't look good but still...)

4. He rides a Harley! (I'm not big on bikes but isn't this like bad boy requirement? Yep.)

5. He's in an underground fight club type thing. And he hasn't lost yet! Come on!! You're killing me here. (Hella sexy...)

All that and yet, hell yes I still have it bad for Travis Maddox *Sigh* And seriously...who'd have thought Pigeon would be like one of the cutest nicknames ever. I swear if I had heard it anywhere else I'd have probably been thinking you're joking right? But nope it's adorable as all hell.

Oh wait there's more to the book than Travis... Sorry I got a bit distracted and obsessive. Anyway!

This freakin' book turned me into a total wreck. Honestly, I thought something might be wrong with me. If I wasn't grinning like an idiot with every page I read, then I was either down right angry or on the verge of tears/bawling like an insane woman. I had to put it down and walk away a few times because parts of it just tore me apart and I couldn't take anymore. It's just. That. Good.

It has a very well rounded out cast of characters. Besides Travis and Abby, I simply adored America and Shepley. They were a perfect addition and I grew to care for them just about as much as Travis and Abby. They had many funny, comic relief type moments as well as some drama of their own.

This book has so many ups and downs and it's worth every minute of the emotional ride that it takes you on. One I will most definitely be reading over and over through the years to come.

And now... I get to go bask in the heavenly glory that is Travis Maddox in Walking Disaster. THANK YOU Simon & Schuster and NetGalley!!! *Dances*
