Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…

Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

Something worse than the Arum has come to town…

The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we're linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there's this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that's possible. Against all common sense, I'm falling for Daemon. Hard.

But then everything changes…

I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

Obsidian, as a series opener, made me fall in love with the Lux. And as A-MA-ZING as I felt that book was, it could hardly hold a candle to how Onyx made me feel.

Lies, Hope, Love, Sorrow, Loss, Jealousy, Betrayal, Despair, Pain, Rage, Passion

That's just a small preview of what you have to look forward to in this book. I was so frustrated sometimes I wanted to scream. If it wasn't someone fighting their feelings it was someone being hurtful or full of betrayal. But if things came easy, it really would be a boring read am I right?

I thought I hated Ash and Andrew in Obsidian, but let me just say, in Onyx there are a couple of new characters that blow them out of the water.

Katy has a real struggle through this book with friendships both new and old. With trust. With her feelings and her trust of the true feelings of others. You really go through a tremendous amount of emotions in this book.

And Daemon. Well he's just amazing...yeah I know I'm a little biased =l  lol

So if you liked Obsidian you seriously need to continue the series. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

Oh yeah and when you've made it through this book, I can't get over the cuteness of one part...3 words:

Katy. Daemon. Vlog.

I know right? :D This book definitely had it's cute, funny, warm and fuzzy parts too.
