W...W...W...Wednesday #13

I am currently alternating through both of these books. I don't want to not read. And I feel like if I tried to binge just straight through the Under the Never Sky series then I'd have long periods where I just don't pick up a book. I've read a lot of fantasy/sci-fi over the last few months and so I've really been needing to break that up a bit before I get sick of it and stay away from it entirely. Though I probably should have mixed it up with some other contemporary because now I think I'm too hooked on the Marked Men! Loving both though!!

My favorite marked man from the series forever has been Rome Archer. And while Nash didn't quite bump him off his throne that rules over my heart, he did come pretty freaking close. Loved Nash's story! Loved.

So this became available for me from my library a few days ago and I'm equal parts flippin excited and absolutely dreading this. As soon as I grow the lady balls I am going to give this a whirl and see how I like it. Maybe after I finish Rowdy and Through the Ever Night. Hmm. We'll see. Depends on how ready I am to have my mind completely effed with. *Bites nails*

I had originally started The School for Good and Evil a couple days ago and had planned to finish out March with that book...but I ended up DNF'ing it by 8%. I just couldn't. I didn't want to start anything brand new yet I wanted to try to just wait until Friday and start off April with some fresh new reads. But I was itching to read something and so I flipped through my Kindle to find a quick reread and ended up picking...

This series is just insane. It would crush me, then fix a little bit of the broken parts, then crush me again in this endless loop. I became a little bit broken and a whole lot obsessed. And ever since finishing this one I'm stalking my OverDrive account a couple times a day to see if A Mad Zombie Party is any closer to being delivered to my Kindle yet. Sigh. Just looked. Still 2 people ahead of me. Jerkfaces!

So, I'm starting this one on Friday and I am so freaking excited to see what all the hype is about! Is it Friday yet? No? Okay, how about now? Now?

I had been struggling quite a bit with this one. At one point yesterday I was like 180 something pages in and I still couldn't tell if I liked it or not. There was something that was holding my attention but there was also something holding me back. I've finally gotten past that moment and now I'm pretty into it! 

Must seem like I'm on some sort of Sarah Dessen kick haha. Anyway. After 3 books now (almost at least) I'll say I enjoy her writing but her books are always a slow, gradual appreciation for me. It has taken quite a bit for me to decide if I like each one of them I've read but I always eventually do. So in the end they're worth the slow start for me.

A few days ago I finished Alice in Zombieland and like instantly fell in love with it. My only problem with it was not having the other freaking books so that I could keep going!! Sigh. I mean it's not like it ended on a cliffhanger or anything I just want to stay in that world so bad! I guess we know what books I'll be purchasing next....

Yeah, this gorgeous book is currently wreaking havoc on my feelings and emotions. I absolutely love Amy Harmon's writing. I was about to start going on and on but I figure I should save all my flowery praises for the review!

The procrastination is over! I finally embraced my fear of ending this series and I am so glad that I did! JLA always seems to drag your heart through the muck as she leads you to the end of her story but in the end, no matter what you go through, it's always a million % worth it!

Also this week, I recently finished Since You've Been Gone. And in the past I hadn't been the "ultimate" Morgan Matson fangirl. I had read Amy & Roger like 3 or 4 years ago and it was just okay for me. So after reading SYBG and reluctantly falling completely in love with it I'm more on the Morgan Matson bandwagon and I can't wait to read this one in May. Plus that cover is just so much fun!!!

I'm actually about to start this one just as soon as I finish typing up this post. I am so excited to get back to one of my first fictional true loves, Daemon Black! I know there's a huge chunk of people out there who don't like these sort of books, the retellings from the guy's point of view but I love them. Even if it's all nearly exactly the same!

I have no words. I mean I really and truly don't. This series was amazing. The world, the characters, the writing style, the story that had me on edge and so absorbed with it that I lost track of time often. I'm not kidding I don't think it's ever happened as strongly as it would here. I'd pick it up being less than 100 pages in and thinking to myself "Ugh! This is going to take forever and I need to know what happens next so bad!" and then the next thing I know I'm nearly finished, tired and hungry because I've forgotten to eat. Worth it.

So this just released and even though I should have waited a couple weeks before I bought it for many reasons, I found myself unable to resist and really wanting more Jamie and Wes. Badly. So if I don't end up sneaking this in this month it will most definitely be on April's TBR. I don't think I can wait much longer than that!! Eeep!

This is actually a reread for me. The Grisha trilogy is going to be my series a month read for March and I'm super excited to finally read the other two books in this series!!

Strong start. Painful finish. My advice? Run from this one!

Eeep! I can't wait until next month! I've had this baby on pre-order since last year. I freaking adore Rachel Harris. I've read all but one of her books, the one that just released a few weeks ago, and I have loved every single one. She is an author that I know I can always depend on to give me all the feels and leave me finishing her books with a smile. I neeeeeed this one to hurry up!!
