Ten Wishes I'd Ask The Book Genie To Grant Me

A Time-Turner, A TARDIS, some sort of time manipulation device so that I had enough time to read everything I want whenever I want!

To be able to step through a door and visit any book world I want.

Always have the money to buy any book I want.

My own personal library in my house.

To be able to look into my favorite characters futures and see how their lives turn out.

To know if I'm going to love a book or not before I read it so I don't waste valuable reading time.

That my favorite books or series would go on and on and on...

To be able to remember every single detail of what I've read no matter how much time has passed.

The time between books from your favorite author didn't drag on forever!

That every time I picked up a favorite book that I loved it would feel as if I were reading it again for the very first time.

Top Ten Authors On My Auto-Buy List

(Part Two)

Back in 2013 we already did this post and I participated. You can find that post here. The authors I mentioned back in 2013 are still authors I would instantly buy books from, but I have discovered so many amazing new authors in the 2 1/2 years since that last post that I decided to just make this a part two. Now I hardly put a dent in my favorites folder so I'm sure there are tons of authors who are getting left out but maybe they'll find a spot next time one of these happens!

These are in no particular order and this is the only place I'm going to drone on and on (since I already have). I'm just gonna put up their names and all the books I've finished (or nearly finished) of theirs.

I would give details about my reasons for each one but it would end up really repetitive. All 10 of these people are brilliant storytellers and create amazing characters that I either want to be friends with, want to do naughty things to (it's me what do you expect?), or just want to be more like.

I swear I'm done babbling now. Let's see who made my list shall we?

I think I'm going to be a little bit over a the 10 mark on this one because as I was going through my shelves I discovered I had a small handful of authors I'd read the same number of books from. So here's my top...12?

With a whopping 24 books...yes TWENTY FOUR...is:

Julia Quinn

This woman is my Historical Romance queen. I'm surprised to realize there were quite a number of her books that I hadn't read yet. This needs to be remedied. Pronto.

Did I just say pronto? Yikes...

At 19 books it's the one and only...my go to author:

Jennifer L. Armentrout

One day I'll be able to say "JLA? Yeah...I've read all her books."

Breathing down JLA's neck for most books I've read, at 18 books is:

Dean Koontz

I worship this man's twisted, twisted mind!

At 13 books read, one of my other go to authors:

Richelle Mead

All the Club Sin series and I'm about to start the 2 books from Magic and Mayhem. I put a small dent into Werewolves be Damned and so far it's freaking fantastic!

R.L. Mathewson

Laugh out loud funny and  holy crap steamy. I need to read the rest of her books!

I'm sure the Ganzfield series would probably way too insta-love for some people but, until the 6th and final book, I was loving it. Too bad #6 had to be such a let down.

After that I have way too many 3 or 4 books authors to even list so I'm glad I reached the goal with 6 or more read. I would have had an honorable mentions section that scrolled on for hours! Haha.
