Stacking
the shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's basically a way
in which we get to show off the lovely new goodies we got over the past
week/month however you decide to do it.
I swear I just need to copy and paste this phrase in every Weekly Haul and call it good but,
I went a little crazy this week...
Remember last week on Twitter when I was like:
(Just nod and pretend you remember) Well this post is where you get to understand why!

Bought:
Lover Undercover (McCade Brothers #1) by Samanthe Beck
Wicked Games (McCade Brothers #1.5) by Samanthe Beck
Falling For the Marine (McCade Brothers #2) by Samanthe Beck
Best Man with Benefits (Wedding Dare #4) by Samanthe Beck
I think it was Private Practice (below) that was the deal of the day in one of the recent Entangled newsletters (one of her books was at least) and it sounded so good that I bought it right away. But a few of Samanthe Beck's other books were at the bottom with a "you should also check out" thing going on. These 4 are part of a series I am really looking forward to diving into. Technically the last one is in another series but it's still about a McCade so it's basically part of it. Can't wait!
Private Practice by Samanthe Beck
Melt for Him (Fighting Fire #2) by Lauren Blakely
Second Chance Ranch (Hope Springs #1) by Cindi Madsen
I do have a review arc of Second Chance Ranch and I freaking loved it. I wanted to get a finished copy because it was just that good. Highly recommend. My 5 star review!
Fragile Line by Brooklyn Skye
Just realized that one of her other books I'm on a blog tour for but anyway this one sounded too intriguing to pass up. The plot fascinates me.
Some Boys by Patty Blount
Every once in a while, actually all the time, I love books that stomp and stomp and stomp on my emotions. This one feels like it could do the trick for me. Forgot whose blog post I saw it on but I just had to get it.
Ruin (Ruin #1) by Rachel Van Dyken
Freebies:
Holding Out for a Hero by Amy Andrews
I recently read a review copy of another one of Amy Andrews' books, No More Mr. Nice Guy, and I loved that book so hard. So, so hard! My review on that one comes out tomorrow. But she tweeted that this one was free for, like, 24 hours or something and I didn't even look to see what it was about I risked snagging it anyway. Still haven't read the blurb but I'm hopefully. She wowed me with the fist book I read so that's a good sign. *Fingers crossed*
Noah (5th Street #1) by Elizabeth Reyes
*****
So that's it. I still haven't unsubbed from Entangled newsletter. Sigh. What did you all get this week? Leave me a link to your posts :)
Buy all the books sounds like a great life motto! And Some Boys sounds great, I love books that crush me too.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Samanthe Beck is one of my favorite Brazen authors along with Tessa Bailey! I've read and loved all of those, except for Wicked Games (I need to read that!) I also love all things Lauren Blakely, so Melt for Him was good too! :) I've been wanting to read Some Boys since BEA! I thought they were going to send me a copy, but they didn't. Oh well. Can't wait to hear what you think!
ReplyDeleteI got my signed copy of Jessica McHugh's The Green Kangaroos this week. Seemed like a good choice for Halloween!
ReplyDeleteOhh I read falling for the marine and liked it! I haven't read samanthe beck's other brazens though! yay looks like some awesome books for you to read! and those brazens are so addictive.
