Monthly Recap #01: January 2015

I cannot believe we're already a month into 2015! I swear the older you get the faster time flies by. So new year, new blogish me, I decided I'd start doing these monthly recaps. Well at least I plan on it, who knows how well I'll end up sticking to it.

So here's what happened on the blog:

Challenge Progress:

I unofficially decided to do this at the beginning of the year which is why I also decided to start doing these posts, to keep it updated. I finished for January! Yay me!

Series Read:
The Mara Dyer Series by Michelle Hodkin
(LOVE!!)

I've completed 5 out of the 50 this month. The rest are gonna get harder!

So that's how my month went in the blogging world. Not bad! Plus I've been doing a decent job so far in replying to comments and finding something original to comment on a portion of the blogs I visit! I'm still not perfect on it but I'll get there :) Bring on February!!

  1. A series a month is a great idea. I'm always starting series but then really slow to move on. I love the idea of getting through them in a month and it would help with my awful book memory too!

  2. I might try to read it again down the road because I started it not long after finishing Mara Dyer and it could have been that I was on such a book high from that so anything would've just been crap to me. Because I was REALLY looking forward to that one as well. *shrugs* give it a try anyway. If you don't have it I i can always see if it's loanable so you don't have to waste money just in case.

I didn't do ANY challenges last year except the GR one so I wanted to push myself. Hehe

  3. Yeah I saw it as an excuse to get through all of the books that are sitting here that I've never finished. It'll be fun and I'm like you my memory is horrible. If there's a long enough break between books in a series I end up having to reread or at least skim the ones I've already read before moving on LOL

    Thanks Trish!!

  4. I'm really bummed about Unmaking Hunter Kennedy. I have been wanting to read that one for so long. I really want to do the series a month, but I said no challenges because I know myself and I wouldn't get to them! I'm glad you're doing it though!

  6. I'm unofficially participating in the series a month challenge. I finished the Hunger Games series this month. I'm going to finish the Princess series by Jessica Day George or the Caroline Series by Celia Wilkins or both.
